John Hartford's two classic albums from 1971 & 1972, "AEREOPLAIN" & "MORNING BUGLE", out of print for a number of years, is now available as an import on this one CD! With used copies selling on amazon for as much as $80 for the "Aereo?Plain" CD only, this is a once in a lifetime chance to own these albums on one CD before our very limited supply runs out. With the release in 1971 of John Hartford's "Aereo?Plain" this ground breaking album ushered in the "new grass" sound. Influencing many artists like the New Grass Revival, Bela Fleck, and others to follow. It features Norman Blake, Tut Taylor, Vassar Clements and Randy Scruggs and produced by David Bromberg. Hartford's follow up album, a year later, was "Morning Bugle". Though never released on LP in the United States, it's brief release on compact disc in the 90s was short lived. John is joined by Norman Black again with David Holland on bass. This is an very limited release, a Sierra Records Mail Order exclusive at very special low price.
