This is the commericial single disc version (Disc One only) from our double Sierra CD 6026.

As a follow up to Sierra Records' previous "33 Acoustic Guitar Instrumentals" CD, this single CD version (a Rural Rhythm/Sierra Records release) features Clarence White on recordings from the Spring of 1964, made within weeks of the now famous "Appalachian Swing" sessions. This disc closes with a 1967 performance of Jimmy Bryant's "Laughing Guitar" and finally, one of Clarence's last recordings before his death in 1973, the studio recording of "Alabama Jubilee" that appeared on the long out of print Sierra vinyl LP, "Silver Meteor".
