Sierra Records current website has been up and running for five years now with secured online ordering of our mail order catalog of great bluegrass and country-rock from the West Coast. Titles are being added on a regular basis making them available for secured direct ordering from this store front.

In 1969, while I was hosting a regular bluegrass radio show in Los Angeles, I recorded and produced my first record album, a local banjo and fiddle contest which included such artists as Doug Dillard, Byron Berline, David Lindley and others. Though only less than an hundred copies were made and sold it began a long journey that continues today. Yes, the company is approaching it?s 40th anniversary of a dream. That dream began with encouragement from Doc Watson, nurtured along by Clarence White and Gram Parsons but most importantly, you, the fan, the musician, the music lover, have kept this ?long strange trip? alive these many decades. A simple "thank you" just doesn?t seem adequate, but for now "thank you" it is!

The mail order company started out small but over the decades some of the its customers have included Keith Richards, Gram Parsons, Stuart Duncan, Jerry Garcia, to name just a few. My hopes and plans are still alive and kickin?.

Besides ordering here online using your Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Paypal or Google Checkout. We still accept orders the old fashioned way by mail and email. Just send us the item number, quantity, price, add the shipping/handling costs (see below) and method of payment.


ORDER BY MAIL: SIERRA RECORDS, P.O.BOX 5753, PASADENA, CA 91117 by check, money order, or credit card number with expiration date AND please include the three digit CVV2 value listed on the back of your card.

ORDER BY EMAIL: mailorder@sierra-records.com with credit card number, expiration date AND please include the three digit CVV2 value listed on the back of your card.

We accept check, money order, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX).



SHIPPING & HANDLING: Charges for shipping and handling are unchanged and are automatically added to your ordering invoice when ordering online. These same charges also apply if you are ordering by mail, fax or email:

USA orders: $2.00 for the first item, $1.00 for each additional item ordered.


OUTSIDE USA: $5.00 for the first item and $3.00 for each additional item.
